Outram Park MRT Station - Singapore 4.76

Outram Park MRT Station is an interchange station of the Mass Rapid Transit East West Line and North East Line, located at the boundary between the planning areas of Bukit Merah and Outram, Singapore. It is the only station on the East West Line to serve as an interchange with the North East Line and from 2021, the Thomson-East Coast Line. It is also the only station on the North East Line to serve as an interchange with the future Thomson-East Coast Line.When the Thomson-East Coast Line opens in 2021, Outram Park will become a triple-line interchange station, just like Dhoby Ghaut and Marina Bay.LocationDespite its name, the station is not located entirely within Outram. Exits F and G of the North East Line section of the station are located in the easternmost portion of Bukit Merah, serving the precincts of Everton Park and Singapore General Hospital. The East West Line portion of the station however, is only accessible from ground level within Outram itself, serving the southernmost portion of Chinatown, Pearl's Hill and People's Park.
